2.5Other income/expenses

In the 2025/26 financial year, the net result of other income and expense amounted to CHF –21.8 million (previous year: CHF 0.2 million). This mainly relates to the reassessment of product liabilities. Changes in the assessments of the expected number and cost of current and future claims led to an increase of CHF 25.9 million as well as a separate reversal of CHF 2.3 million (previous year: reversal of CHF 0.2 million).
